How to choose a quinceañera venue: what to ask on a tour
- Does the room suit the vals and the surprise dance? Ask for the size of the dance floor, whether there is a stage, and whether your court can rehearse in the room.
- How big is the court and where does it get ready? Ask about a private room for the quinceañera and her court, and where the damas and chambelanes change.
- What guest count is the capacity based on? Ask whether it is seated dinner or standing, and confirm it in writing for your date.
- What does the package include? Ask for a list: food, bar, DJ and lighting, decor, cake table, photo and video, coordinator, setup and cleanup.
- Can you bring outside catering, alcohol, decor or a DJ? Ask whether outside vendors are allowed and whether there is a fee.
- How many hours does the rental include? Ask about the price of an extra hour and about setup and teardown time.
- What are the deposit, the payment schedule and the cancellation terms? Read them in the contract first. Ask whether taxes and service charges are already in the quote.
- Can someone on the team speak with your family in Spanish? Ask who will be your contact, and in which language the contract and the planning conversations will be.
